Dave Garland is responsible for sourcing and evaluating investment opportunities that promise to improve the global residential and commercial real estate industries. He brings over 18 years of strategic advisory experience to numerous venture-backed, public and private real estate companies – bridging these entities with established brokerages and technology firms. As a startup investor, he sits on several boards of growing real estate and mortgage technology organizations.
As an industry practitioner, Garland has acquired, owned and managed portfolios of single family residential, commercial and development properties across America. During the housing crisis, he worked with key organizations to create practical solutions for thousands of real estate professionals, including critical short sale programs instrumental in helping homeowners survive the great recession.
Garland holds an MBA from the Melbourne Business School, a BA from Notre Dame, and holds advanced certificates from Oxford and Stanford. He is a licensed real estate broker and works from the Silicon Valley office in Menlo Park, CA.
Tyler brings 15 years of strategic, startup, and operational experience to the REACH® team. He is responsible for identifying potential candidates for REACH as well as working with companies during and after the program. Tyler served as a mentor for REACH over the past several years and has added significant value to many past participants.
Prior to joining REACH, Tyler worked with several start-up and growth stage technology companies, including BitTorrent where they quickly surpassed the 100 million user mark. He served as CEO at both publicly traded Avalon Digital Marketing Systems and CaptureQuest and as part of the executive team at Deductr and the Business Software Alliance, where he represented the world’s leading business software companies.
Tyler graduated with honors from BYU and received his Master’s degree from MIT. Expeditions to the North Pole (on a Russian nuclear icebreaker), the Serengeti, and the top of Mount Kilimanjaro have helped prepare Tyler for his adventures in the worlds of real estate and technology.
Johan Holmberg, CFA
Johan is responsible for the management and reporting of the SCV and REACH® portfolios, in addition to sourcing and analyzing new investment opportunities.
Johan supports companies in the REACH program on matters related to fundraising and operational finance. He is a CFA® Charterholder. Prior to joining SCV, Johan spent four years in financial management for NAR’s Advocacy Group in DC. He’s also managed fund trades and hedging currency exposure for Danica Pension, Sweden, a subsidiary of Danske Bank, with annual net premiums exceeding $1B.
Johan holds an MSc in Finance (US MSF/M.Fin) and a BSc in Economics from Lund University School of Economics and Management, Sweden. Johan is based in Washington, DC.
Ashley brings more than a decade of global marketing and business development experience from the CPG and real estate industries.
She is responsible for the marketing and communication strategy for SCV and REACH. Ashley joined NAR in 2015 as the Director of Marketing where she oversaw marketing efforts for key initiatives, including member outreach, the REALTOR® Safety Program, .realtor and .realestate domains, the Center for REALTOR® Financial Wellness and the REALTOR® Broker Summit and iOi events.
Ashley has also served as a mentor for REACH and worked closely with the team to deliver significant growth for the REACH Insight Panel. Prior to joining NAR, Ashley worked in strategic business development roles at 3M and Coca-Cola where she specialized in brand and product development in major retail markets in the United States, Western Europe, and Central and South America.
Ashley is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business Honors Program at Indiana University, where she also competed in pole vault for the IU Track & Field team. Ashley is based in Chicago, IL.
Todd has more than twenty five years of real estate and mortgage industry experience in technology, communications, and business development. He is responsible for identifying potential candidates for REACH® as well as working with companies during and after the program.
Todd joined the National Association of REALTORS® in 2009, and built teams and products that lead over a million members through the industry’s rapidly changing technology landscape. His past experience includes tenures at Trulia.com, LonaApp.com, and as an independent consultant to Multiple Listing Services.
He served as staff executive to NAR’s Data Strategies Committee from 2014-2018, and serves on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Standards Organization (RESO ).
Bob Gillespie is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years of experience in technology, leadership, operations and finance. He has worked extensively with over 100 companies, with his mentorship and network connections leading to new customers, partnerships and venture funding for the participating companies. The companies he has worked with as an Executive Consultant has gone to raise over $150M.
Bob is currently the Executive Director of REach Commercial after having served as the Executive Director of The Elmspring Accelerator, a venture accelerator that invests in technology startups who aim to disrupt the real estate and housing industry, with innovative solutions in housing, brokerage, smart home automation, multifamily, hospitality, construction and more.
Bob has his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in Entrepreneurship, Strategy and Finance. Bob loves baseball, is an avid reader, and a passionate traveler. He is more than half way to his goal of visiting at least 100 countries in his lifetime. He works from the NAR Headquarters in Chicago, IL.
Kia Nejatian is a venture capitalist at Second Century Ventures, where he leads the NAR REACH accelerator program.
Prior to joining Second Century Ventures, Kia led real estate and construction investments at Plug and Play Ventures, and was the Director of Partnerships at Kash, a Y Combinator backed fintech startup which was acquired by a publicly traded financial services company.
In a past life, Kia was a Real Estate Analyst at Real Facilities (acquired by Savills Studley), Advisor to Toronto Mayor Rob Ford, and an entrepreneur.
Olivia attended Knox College, where she developed an analytical, design-focused approach to problem solving through her interdisciplinary education. Her start-up focus began as a co-founder of ChartAir, a database of information of small airports across the country. Next, she was an early employee and Product Manager for The Minte, a fast growing Chicago based start-up. Additionally, Olivia consulted as a pitch coach for start-ups in Istanbul’s Innogate program. In 2019, Olivia was named one of Chicago’s top 25 under 25.
Olivia applies her process-focused approach with technology to improve internal communication, workflows, and data integrity. Her design skills promote a user-centric lens, thus driving key metrics. She helps organizations deliver streamlined results by consistently asking “Why?”
Duke Long is a 20 plus year veteran of commercial real estate brokerage development management and ownership. This experience in the user side of technology has translated to the supplier side in unique ways. Always positioned just between generations of established users, legacy companies and the up and coming new generation of commercial real estate.
He has leveraged this position for many years and is recognized as an industry leader and creator. Serving as an advisor, investor, mentor, and advocate pushing many of these companies to direct focused and concise decisions. He has been asked by many well-known international companies and associations such as CBRE, JLL, Colliers International, The National Association of Realtors, The International Council of Shopping Centers, CCIM, SIOR, MIPIM and CoreNet among others to speak and present about the latest in Commercial Real Estate Technology.
He attended Indiana University and is also a veteran of The United States Air Force.

Jeff Turner specializes in helping technology startups understand and navigate the complexities of the North American real estate market.
He is also an internationally recognized speaker on topics at the intersection of technology trends and human behavior. As founder & CEO, Jeff led the digital media firm, J.J. Grace, onto Inc. Magazine’s list of the 500 Fastest-Growing Companies. He has served as a Founder, President, or CEO of multiple real estate technology companies, including Australia-based RealSatisfied, acquired by Placester in 2016, and Immoviewer, a world leader in virtual tours founded in Potsdam, Germany.
Currently, Jeff is Entrepreneur In Residence for Second Century Ventures, leads strategy at immoviewer, is launching a new startup in the real estate association management space called Tangilla, and is an advisor to multiple real estate technology startups.
He is based in Santa Clarita, CA.
A real estate tech veteran and founder of the modern real estate technology movement, Ashkán has worked with some of the largest owner-operators, investors, and real estate companies on technology’s impact on real estate.
An active and visible member of the real estate industry, Ashkán is an Advisory Board member at CREtech. The role was a result of an acquisition of RE:Tech, the leading real estate tech research and advisory firm Ashkán founded in 2012, where he indexed and analyzed venture capital investments in real estate tech on behalf of owner-operators, real estate companies, technology investors and startups.
Ashkán is a frequent source for leading business publications, including the Wall Street Journal, Forbes, New York Times, The Real Deal, Bisnow, Estate Weekly, Business Insider, GlobeSt and others. In 2012, Ashkán was named the “Tech Whisperer” by the Commercial Observer for his work as a commercial real estate broker and advisor. Tegan Addinsall is a leader in market development and acquisition in the technology sector. She has led growth strategies for over 65 start-ups, SMEs and listed companies, helping them realise their global potential.
Her track record includes the successful scale-up of over 16 technology companies and several million-dollar campaigns on shoe-string budgets.
As Director at REACH, Tegan is leading the Australian program operations and providing mentoring as an Entrepreneur in Residence. Founding three companies throughout her career, most recently a consultancy in 2018, she understands first-hand the complexities of developing sustainable revenue and expanding into international markets.
Tegan also works across several of Australia’s leading universities, University of Melbourne, RMIT and La Trobe University, to deliver the latest in marketing technology and innovation to hundreds of students every week.
Shelli Trung is Partner at REACH Australia. She brings over 15 years of experience across corporate innovation, real estate development, entrepreneurship and early stage investment.
Prior to joining SCV, Shelli was the Expert in Residence | Investment Fund Manager Executive at Queensland University of Technology Creative Enterprise Australia where she grew the investment portfolio from 8 to 35+ Seed/Series A investments within two years and served on the Board of Cardly, Bluethumb and the right fit.
In 2010, Shelli founded a digital media publication based in New York, which was incubated at the New York Media Centre and subsequently acquired in early 2015.
Rockyath Adechoubou is a content strategist and partnership development specialist. She is responsible for programming, communications, and community management for REACH Australia.
Rockyath spent 11 years living and working in South Africa, the United States, and Japan before relocating to Melbourne. Her most recent position was with Inter Media Japan as the Community Manager.
Rockyath graduated with a Bachelor in Public Relations and Marketing from The American University and holds a Master in International Business (MIB) from The University of Melbourne.

Mike holds an MBA, Summa Cum Laude, from the EDHEC Business School and is a former REALTOR®.
Lynette Keyowski is the Partner at REACH Canada with over 12 years’ executive leadership and management experience in the North American real estate vertical, with a focus on delivering innovative, technology-based solutions to enhance the property transaction ecosystem.
Natasha is the Director at REACH UK, bringing over a decade of experience ranging from corporate partnerships to running and scaling innovative high growth companies focused on environmental sustainability.
Natasha holds an MBA from Kent Business School and is a regular speaker at industry events.
Valentina Shegoyan is the Partner at REACH UK with over 15 years of experience in real estate, technology, and financial advisory.
Valentina holds a full time MBA degree from INSEAD (2010) and is a graduate of the Oxford Fintech Programme (2018).
